Tel Aviv Biennale Crafts & Design 2020
Object sculpted out of cardboard and paper are distorted in terms of their proportions and scale, featuring parts that fold, come apart, and are cut, broken, or rebuilt. The paper is used to connect and construct the parts, creating a fantastic thicket and structuring a journey on which the familiar becomes strange. This inversion constitutes a return to a childhood memory of Noga Yudkovik-Etzioni, in which a public garden or backyard are transformed into a wild jungle where interesting things take place; games, exploration, and discoveries, which provide the material for this work
